"A Hidden Gem in Paradise: Five Stars for Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive Resort! We just returned from an absolutely incredible stay at Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive Resort in Puerto Galera, Philippines, and it truly deserves every bit of a five-star rating! We traveled with our local dive shop, Diveoutdoors, as part of a larger group of 16, and the team at Casalay handled everything flawlessly, making our big group feel right at home in this intimate, secluded boutique resort. The villas were very nice and well cared for spacious, beautifully designed with modern comforts blended into the tropical surroundings, and offering stunning ocean or garden views that made every moment relaxing. The resort's hillside layout means there's a lot of stairs to navigate to some of the rooms, which we actually loved it helped us keep fit during the trip, especially after indulging in all the amazing food! What really made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. Every team member was super great and friendly, and since we love getting to know people when we travel, we made a point to chat with everyone we encountered. The whole team Adelyn, Breech Mae, Marie Gay, Wendell, Cathy, Raymond, Sugar, Manan, Michelle, Gina, Renz, Donna, Orville, Lowie, Ricky, Ricko, Victor, Shernan, Jojo, Ariel, Francis, Babylyn, Chef Randy, Lloyd, Michael, Minda, and Tess—treated us like family and went out of their way to make our stay special. Many of them quickly learned our names, adding such a warm, personal touch, and the wait staff picked up our drink preferences straightaway, delivering our favorites without us even asking. A huge highlight was the diving, we especially want to recognize Orville and Jeremy as amazing Dive Masters who made the trip truly special. Their knowledge of the local sites, passion for the underwater world, and careful attention to safety turned every dive into a highlight, from exploring vibrant coral reefs and macro critters to drifting through the rich marine life Puerto Galera is famous for. The on-site dive center is professional and well-equipped, with easy access to over 30 fantastic sites. The food, led by Chef Randy and the kitchen team, was delicious—fresh, flavorful dishes with plenty of variety that kept our whole group happy. The beachfront restaurant and pool area provided the perfect spots to relax between dives, soaking in the serene views and peaceful atmosphere of this secluded beachfront haven. Casalay is the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and genuine hospitality. if you're looking for a dive-focused escape or just a tranquil tropical retreat, this is it. We can't wait to come back, thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable trip!"

"We had a lovely time at the cozy Casalay. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The chef went out of his way to provide us with vegan & vegetarian food options which was much appreciated. The dive shop has a lot of experienced divers and the staff were flexible with our requests. The prices are ok considering the resort. Special shout out to Cathy, Randy, Mae & Gaurav for making our week, one to remember."

"I recently had the opportunity to dive in the Philippines. And I was not disappointed. I had the pleasure to stay at the Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive Resort during my stay in Puerto Galera. The amenities and staff there at the resort are all top notch! I was greeted warmly by Breech Mae & Wendell as part of the front desk staff. Their beautiful smiles and wonderful demeanor made my stay very enjoyable. They also took customer support above and beyond when they helped me to navigate the delays caused by water taxi closure due to Tropical Cyclone Tino. The dive shop there in Casalay was also excellent. Gilbert was my dive guide during my stay and I would recommend that all of you request him. The Dive Shop Manager Lewy also went out of his way to make all of our dives safe, successful. You can not go wrong if you book your next dive trip there to Casalay in Puerto Galera!"
