"I just watched this amazing hotel give away gifts to a couple hundred disadvantaged Filipino children for Xmas. The owner, Daniel, dressed up like Santa Claus and it was a heartwarming experience to witness the generosity of this fabulous hotel. It is nice to know that my patronage of this establishment is going to a great cause in supporting the community. Aside from their generosity, the hotel is awesome with the best staff you will find in the Philippines!"

"Excellent service, great food, and well maintained facilities. We also scuba dived with them, and the instructors were really knowledgeable and friendly! They have a complementary speedboat service taking you from Sabang Port to the hotel, and vice versa. DO NOT take the land route, we didn’t know what areas we were going to and it felt like we had to traverse the sixth circle of hell to get to the hotel. Not the hotel’s fault! Just contact them and TAKE THE COMPLEMENTARY SPEEDBOAT!"

"The service goes above and beyond at Lalaguna Villas, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A fabulous place to stay, close to numerous cafes and the ferry. But why go anywhere else, the food was scrumptious with a large selection of beverages. The rooms were large, and extremely clean. The Gym was well appointed, and the swimming pool was well designed. A couple of days or weeks could be easily spent here.Cannot speak highly enough of this place."

"Check-In Experience: Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, including a trainee. We were offered welcome drinks, which was a nice touch. Before heading to our room, the trainee explained some hotel services, including room service. However, the information was unclear — she mentioned it was “100% free,” but it turns out there’s actually a ₱100 charge per tray. This should have been communicated more clearly. Accessibility and Room Location: Our room was located on the 6th floor. While they mentioned that the building has an elevator, the layout was quite unusual. Guests have to take the stairs up to the 3rd floor, then use the elevator to reach the 7th floor, and finally go down one level to the 6th floor. It’s a confusing setup and inconvenient, especially for guests carrying luggage. Room Condition: The room itself was spacious, nice, and beautifully designed. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The sofa bed was quite dirty, and the area underneath it was very dusty, which caused some itchiness. The provided blanket was very thin and did not feel like a standard hotel blanket. There was one thick extra blanket for the sofa bed, but it seemed like that was the only additional one available. Air Conditioning System: The air conditioning system uses motion sensors, which automatically turn off the units when no movement is detected. This became a major inconvenience during our stay. Both air conditioners turned off around 1 AM and again around 6 AM while we were sleeping. Since people don’t move much when asleep, the sensors couldn’t detect us, causing the room to become hot and forcing us to wake up repeatedly to turn the aircon back on. Overall Impression: The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was aesthetically pleasing. However, there are several areas that need improvement — clearer communication about service fees, better cleanliness, more standard bedding, and a fix for the air conditioning sensor issue. These changes would make the overall stay much more comfortable."

"I had the most amazing experience as a recent guest at Lalaguna Villas. The quality and size of the rooms was fantastic, with a fully stocked mini bar and sufficient air conditioning and fans. The rooms were restocked and cleaned to perfection each day. The front desk staff were very accommodating, helping me to find activities to do on the island such as golf, zip-lining, and a trip to White Beach. The bar and kitchen staff were terrific, with some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet providing some of the best service you’ll ever experience. I can’t talk highly enough about how efficient and welcoming the staff were! The dive instructors were also super fun to be around, and they showed a passion for diving each and every day, which kept everyone’s spirits high. I couldn’t recommend a stay at Lalaguna Villas enough - I will most certainly be visiting again in the near future!"
