"The best diving resort in Puerto Galera. Period. Great service, excellent location, a very hospitable atmosphere, and an incredible kitchen. The staff are on another level compared to other places in the Philippines — they create truly warm, cozy, family-like vibes. Special mention to the owner, Richard — a really cool guy, always fun to have a good chat with him. Big thanks as well to Jeff for his cheerful energy and for providing the best service possible. The dive masters are excellent too. Huge shout-out to Julia, Marlon and Billy!"

"Had a wonderful stay at Edgewater this long weekend. After a short sea taxi ride we were greeted by their friendly and helpful staff. We loved our room, soft beds and a great view. We stayed in the newly constructed Garden view house which was very comfortable. So close to amazing dive sites. You are in great hands with their dive master Marlon. After diving it was great to unwind with a swim in the pool and relax by the seaside terrace with a nice drink. Food is great too, good variety of western and Filipino food. Can’t say enough about how much we love this place ! Will definitely be coming back for more good times and great company!"

"Strongly recommend this dive resort in PG! It’s one of those rare places where you can actually choose your dive sites. Except for the Verde islands (which require a minimum number of divers—unless you don’t mind chartering the boat yourself 😄), the dive guide （Thank you Martin)literally says, “Wherever you want to go, we’ll go!” 😂 Couldn’t be happier!"

"This was our second stay at Edgewater and it was just as enjoyable as the first time around a few years ago. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Including coffee to your room at 5.30am when your kid won't sleep! It's a small, boutique resort with a beautiful setting in a quiet bay surrounded by forest and mangroves. It's fabulous and by far the best of the hotel options in the area. Highly recommended."

"The client service experience was amazing right from the reservation. Izzie communicated with us, provided us with helpful information and organized our transportation from the port of Batangas to EdgeWater. On the day of our arrival, one of us had to stay behind. EW team went above and beyond their tasks for her to be able to join us. They went as far as booking a transportation from Manila to Batangas. On site, every single staff member are making sure that the clients are satisfied. They accommodate request at the restaurant, they add a personalized touch to the service, etc. During a lunch, someone at another table was smoking. The staff approched the person in a professional and sensitive way and made them aware that others were eating. Melanie and Jeff are running the tables and know the names of every customers. They even remembered us from a previous stay. The menu provides multiple options and the food was enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable, clean and cozy. The AC works very well. Mariane’s help was so appreciated to organized our diving tour. Marlon is a great dive master and dedicated to provide the best experience to the clients. One could argue that the downsides would be the internet connexion that is unstable and how far the resort is far from other sites. However, it is a perfect location for a retreat and actually disconnect from everything else."
