"We just spent a fantastic week of diving with Action in Sabang, jus before Christmas. I picked up AD after a careful comparison of various dive shops at Puerto Galera, wanted a smaller operator over the bigger names - and oh boy Huw, Piyong, Jojo and the rest of the Action team delivered that: professional service with that nice personal touch and responsiveness which makes you feel you have found your diving home! We shared quite some messages with Huw prior to our trip and got wealth of information on what to expect from diving at PG waters. We started with Nitrox course with my daughter, got certified and thus dove rest of the dives with enriched air. We wanted to visit the Verde Island, and Huw made sure we get there on our second dive day. Verde really lived up to its reputation…I think I have never seen so abundant fish and marine life, sea snakes, turtles. Our non-divers were able to join at the dive boat couple of times for snorkeling, which was nice. All the sites we covered were really good and came with fantastic coral gardens, especially the Monkey Bay and Sabang wrecks were the highlights. Sea was exceptionally warm for December, at 27-29 celcius thus a 3 mm wet suit was sufficient. All diving was in small groups just 2-3 divers per guide. We stayed at Out of the Blue just stairs up from Action, and were really happy with that choice as well, having a 2-bed room villa with sea view and good on site restaurant (Verandah) is always nice Thank you so much Action team, I hope to be able to come back some day!"

"I spent 5 days with Action Divers last week and completed my Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air diving certifications. Huw is a highly experienced diver and instructor and has in depth knowledge of the local reefs and diving sites, having lived on the island for the past 10+ years. I was getting back to diving after a gap of almost 20 years and Huw was exactly the kind of instructor I needed - calm, patient, knowledgeable, fluent in English ( Huw is a British expat) and more importantly - one who priorities safety more than anything else. Action Divers is run by a knowledgeable team of Huw, Piyong, Albert and the support staff, who are always at hand to help out. It may not be the flashiest or the biggest dive shop on the strip, but if you are looking for a highly qualified and experienced instructor (Huw) and well equipped dive shop, Action Divers would come highly recommended by me. The dive sites are all close by and we did 3 dives each day. The coral reefs are in a good condition. Huw - Thank you once again for he wonderful time last week and leading me on the various dives!"
